While President Milos Zeman paid his duties during his visit to the Olomouc Region in the second half of March, the First Lady visited the Archdiocesan Museum Olomouc on Monday, 20th of March.

“Mrs. Ivana Zemanová, together with the chief wife of Marie Oklešťková, visited the Picture Gallery, the Treasury or the Romanesque Bishops Palace,” said Michal Soukup, director of the Olomouc Museum of Art. “Mrs. Zemanová also expressed her wish to look into the room where the last Přemyslovec Václav III was allegedly murdered. These spaces are now part of the Exhibition Gallery,” added Soukup.

At the end of the visit, Ivana Zemanová received a representative publication on the Olomouc Archdiocese Museum. “And in return, she gave us a book about the Treasure of St. Vitus,” added Soukup.
