It is a profile exhibition of photographs from the museum’s collection, which ranks among the three largest collections of its kind in the Czech Republic. The presented set of about 200 photographs provides insight into the history of the medium in the international context from the 19th century up to the start of the 21st century. The core of the exhibition is the works by the outstanding photographers, František Drtikol, Josef Sudek, Jaromír Funke and Karel Plicka, complemented with photographs from the period of the 1960s to the 1990s, up to works by the contemporary generation of photographers.
