Matthew Třešňák (born 1980) is dedicated to photography since he was 12 years old. In 2012 completed a masters degree at the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava. The theme of his photographic series often touch of fashion and lifestyle. He is fascinated by veterans, ie cars and bikes from the 40s and 50s of the last century, and environment enthusiasts who move around them. He his interest in the past, explains: “Its hard to explain to someone who does not care about what exactly it is, but in the world of the fifties – as a whole – more and more popular. It hosts a large swing parties, throughout the world are currently very popular dance from the 30th to 50th years … Fotím retro, swing dance, ride a motorbike races of 1950 and I also play jazz … “(Xantypa, 2011, No. 6) . Photos harbor many positions. They may be socially or gently ironic theatrical or dramatic or vice versa due to the environment they originate and bizarre. But despite the stylization layer of clothing and hairstyles of the main protagonists are pure documentary and neinscenované images.
