Printmaking Studio I | Jiří Lindovský School | Vojtěch Pálka and Lenka Falušiová
February 4 to April 16, 2015
Museum of Modern Art | Café 87
The exhibition of graduate of the Prague Academy of Fine Arts and triple holder of the Graphic of the Year Prize Vojtěcha Pálka (* 1986) opens up a free series of presentations of the students and graduates of the Czech graphic schools. In a variant, which will be held in mid-March, is beside to well-established Pálka presented another student of the Jiří Lindovský School, Lenka Falušiová (* 1988). While Pálka can be associated with social contexts and environments (city, hospital), Lenka Falušiová reflects the world outside of the civilization, the landscape and forest of the Jeseníky Mountains. Her subtle graphic prints (bar etching, drypoint) create an interesting parallel to the seemingly strictly rational, but in fact strongly empathic grids by Vojtěch Pálka.
The closing night gala | vernissage with the participation of the authors will take place on the occasion of permutations of the cycles on Wednesday, 11 March 2015.
